The recession, which engulfed the construction industry from 2008, changed the client base of many organisations. Companies within the construction industry lost loyal customers and long-term contracts, highlighting the need to look at new ways to win new clients across the built environment.
Crannull started working with small sub-contractors, creating opportunities for them with main contractors, where a previous relationship did not exist. Proving a success, the business grew and so did the client base as it started to incorporate organisations that span the entire built environment.
